Song Meanings
Going Under: was the second single from rock band Evanescence's first commercial album, Fallen. It was meant to be the first single, but the success from Bring Me To Life eclipsed the initial decision. The song is about Amy Lee's relationship with an abusive boyfriend. (Fans speculate that 'Anything For You' an unreleased demo, is also about him) But it can be used to describe any type of abusive relationship.

My Immortal: The song was written by Evanescence's former guitarist, Ben Moody, with Amy Lee adding the bridge. Like all songs written by Moody, the lyrics are based on a short story he wrote.
EXTRA:
The video for "My Immortal" was shot in Barcelona (the fountain in the video is a tourist stop for many fans) and played in black and white. Throughout the video, Lee is never seen touching the ground. When asked about this by an observant fan, she replied that it is because she is a ghost.

Everybody's Fool: is the fourth and final single from the album Fallen by the Little Rock, Arkansas band. The song is, according to Amy Lee, about fake celebrities who strip and sell their bodies for publicity, though it could also be interpreted that the song is about celebrities who have completely false images. The unifying theme of the video is that they are merely peddling lies. It is also commonly misinterpreted as a message against the Christian or Roman Catholic Church.

Call Me When You're Sober: The inspiration for 'Sober' was made clear after Amy Lee's former boyfriend, Seether frontman Shaun Morgan, checked himself into rehab for "unspecified problems" in late July 2006. Lee stated that she's not worried about listeners knowing what inspired the song: 'Call Me When You're Sober' says something that's impossible to hide from. I'm stuck with everyone knowing exactly what I'm talking about. And if there's consequences for that, which there are, then I have to face them. But it's true, and it really happened, and it meant so much to me and felt so good to just blurt it out that it was worth it. And I think it's a really great song and I'm really proud of it.
